Fall in Texas means outdoor events are in full swing!  The highest temperatures range from the 70s to 80s Fahrenheit, making it a pleasant time for outdoor activities. You can still enjoy a subtle change in the colors of the leaves. Oaks and other trees may turn shades of yellow and brown. Look out for festivals, art shows, and concerts that benefit from the comfortable weather. No matter what you choose to do, you're sure to have a fun and festive fall in The Woodlands.

Here are some of our favorite fall festivals and events in the area!

The Woodlands Renaissance Faire

Family and friends can enjoy a fun day at Rob Fleming Park at The Woodlands Renaissance Faire. The event, presented by Arts in the Park, features live performances by local musicians and The Woodlands Symphony Orchestra players. Other attractions include face painting, crafts, and strolling entertainment. There will also be costume contests for adults and children!

SpookTacular

Join The Woodlands Children's Museum for its annual SpookTacular Halloween Monster Mash Party! This non-spooky event will be filled with dancing, art projects, and live magic shows! Dress up in your best costumes, too!

Fall Festival at Dewberry Farm

The whole family can enjoy the Fall Festival at Dewberry Farm! They have a Pumpkin Patch that you can explore and follow a trail of glowing jack-o-lanterns through the "Pumpkin Hollar" area. Take photos at their life-sized Pumpkin House and get lost in the corn maze! You can also meet the barnyard animals and stay late for BOOriffic Nights!

B-52 Brewing Oktoberfest

The world's largest beer festival is Oktoberfest, which takes place in Germany every year and brings in millions of people. While this won't be as grand as an Oktoberfest in Germany, B-52 Brewing is still planning on throwing you a party. This event is free to everyone, but those who wish to purchase pre-sale drinks and glassware can do so by visiting the website and purchasing the pre-sale bundle. Enjoy games, food trucks, and the "Best Dressed" contest!

Pumpkins & 'Possums

On the evening of October 21st, get close to some nocturnal animals at the Friends of Texas Wildlife Center! Come and go as you wish throughout the event, make a fun craft, play some games, and more! Bring your $5 for admission and wear your Halloween costumes!

Conroe Catfish Festival

The 34th Annual Conroe Catfish Festival is held the 2nd weekend in October each year. The annual festival is a family-friendly event featuring live music, various food vendors, and a professional carnival. It also features a yearly catfish pageant. The festival is organized by the Friends of Conroe, a non-profit organization that's dedicated to improving the community.
